Job description:

The candidate should be well-versed with environmental legislated processes. The successful candidate will undertake EIA’s for new developments, ECO level activities, and will need to be familiar with processing NEMA and WULA online applications.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

A recognised Graduate and Post Graduate Degree in Environmental Management or related field.
At least 6 years practical experience in environmental impact assessment as per NEMA.
Proficiency in GIS software.
Thorough knowledge of Environmental Management, the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process and environmental legislative requirements.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Proficient in English.
The ability to work under pressure.
The ability to work in a team and independently, as required.
Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Code B Driver’s license. Willingness to travel when required. A company car will be available for work related travel.
