North-West Past Branch Chair: Jurie Moolman

Jurie Moolman is an Environmental Management Specialist at the Unit for Environmental Sciences and Management, North-West University, Potchefstroom. He is currently busy with his PhD in Water Governance. His areas of specialisation include: Environmental impact assessment, Environmental management plans, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and EMS auditing. He is a SAATCA-registered auditor and a Candidate Natural Scientist registered with SACNASP. Jurie’s interests include biking, birding and hiking.

North-West Branch Vice Chair and Conference: Percy Sehaole

Percy Sehaole has been working as an Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP) since August 2015. She holds two (2) Masters Degree’, one in Microbiology and another in Environmental Management. She is currently registered as a Professional Natural Scientist with SACNASP as well as with the Environmental Assessment Practitioner Association of South Africa (EAPASA). She is passionate about research and has experience in working as an EAP in conducting EIAs, BAR’s, Environmental Audits, compiling Environmental Management Programmes (EMPr), Section 24G applications & Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).

North-West Branch Secretariat: Orlinda Mafika

Orlinda is an environmental consultant based in Potchefstroom since 2019. She’s currently working on her master’s in Environmental Management with Waste Management at the North West University and has experience in conducting WULA’s, GA’s and AEL’s, Environmental Auditing, NAEIS Reporting and GIS map creation. She is passionate about the promotion of environmental sustainability and acquiring knowledge.
