Course Outline: This course equips participants with effective public engagement strategies, enabling them to bridge the gap between parliamentarians and communities for more inclusive governance.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Introduces participants to core principles, tools, and methods of engagement.
2. Ethically practice the application of the IAP2 Core Values and Code of Ethics, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion principles.
3. Introduce and explore the dynamics of the Profiles of Engagement and be clear on who leads and acts in the engagement process.
4. Advise participants on how they can be guided by the IAP2 Practice Framework to Design, Plan, Implement and Review the engagement process.
5. Apply the Profiles of the P2/engagement model to P2/engagement and explore organisation-led and community-led engagement and how that impacts the engagement process.
6. Apply the IAP2 Spectrum to P2/engagement situations and practice.
7. Explore the Practice Framework as a tool for effective planning and process and assess the quality of the process.
