Training course description/ outline:
This innovative, multi-disciplinary programme has been jointly designed by the School of Public Leadership, and the Departments of Philosophy, Public Law, Conservation Ecology & Entomology and Geography at Stellenbosch University.  It equips the next generation of environmental leaders by blending rigorous theoretical foundations with practical, hands-on learning to foster essential management skills. These include reconciling sustainable development with South Africa and Africa’s sensitive environments, formulating and implementing environmental policy across public and private sectors in Southern Africa, and mastering regional approaches to environmental governance.
